Tile Cutter
1. Operate only with instructor’s permission and after you have receive instruction.
2. Remove any jewelry, eliminate loose clothing, and confine long hair.
3. Make sure all guards are in place and operating correctly.
4. Always use proper eye protection.
5. The proper type of blade for the tile cutter is has a continuous rim to provide smooth cuts.
6. Ensure that the wiring is not frayed and the plug is a three prong plug with a ground prong
7. Ensure that the fence is parallel to the blade. Never make free hand cuts.
8. Ensure that there is adequate water in the water reservoir
9. Feed the tile slowly into the blade, a tile should be more than 12” in length and turn off the machine after a few cuts to cool
10. Take care handling cut tile the edges may be sharp and could cause serious injury.
11. User must ensure that power cord is disconnected before cleanup
12. When cleaning the saw remove the water first, remove debris using a brush and rinse and wipe all surfaces with a dry cloth.
13. The user must ensure that the saw is dry and clean before storage.
14. Before changing blades ; ensure that the power is disconnected, remember the wrench fits the nut loosely so it does not jam and the nut is a “left hand thread”
